Hey Katie,
You have set me, the Lord, before you. Because I am at your right hand, you will not be shaken. Because of that, let your heart be glad and your tongue rejoice, and your body rest secure. I will not abandon you to the grave and will not let you, my faithful one, see decay. I have made known to you the path of LIFE. I will fill you with JOY in my presence!

Oh how I needed those words from the Lord today.
Lord, thank you. Thank you for reminding me of that. Lord forgive me for not putting you in the place you need to be - as my provider, protector, sustainer, and comforter. That’s your job. Not the money in my checking account, not in my relationships with other people, not in the clothes on my back or the car that I drive. YOU. And only you. YOU are the one and only LIFE. Without you, I am meaningless. Thank you for counting me as worthy to live a life for you, and help me to keep my priorities in check - with my eyes staying continually focused on You above all else. Amen
